Kinfolk
We had the privilege of getting to know Ryan & Akira at Kinfolk Bicycles in LA a few weekends past. The bikes are amazing. Who else is making new, custom, professional-grade Kierin-style bicycles available here in the U.S.? Don't buy a crashed-up, dented-out, obsolete-tubing used import frame. Check these out. Framebuilder Kusaka does some amazing work. Check out the website and the flickr blog for more info.
new bike
built this bike up for me a little while back. Rides like a dream! Watch out for this guy in the future. Big things coming from the North West. Thank you taylor.

Just saw that H+Son has a new rim in the pipeline, the Eero.

NY Times x Peel Sessions
Mr. John (Prolly) Watson had a nice write up/audio slide show it the New York Times last week. I got a little spot in there and as usual I can be heard in the background talking a bit of smack.
It can be seen here...http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/12/nyregion/12bikes.html?_r=2
If you are anywhere near Brooklyn on a Thursday night, stop by and join the party.
