Wolfpack Hustle All City Race III
Al, Adam Shap, Fox, Jason Spires, and I formed our team, Ride Slow Oakland, on Friday and drove down Friday night to the Wolfpack Hustle All-City III team race. We arrived back in Oakland two days later with a 4th place finish and a lot of new friends and great memories. Thanks for Kyle and Adria from Tracko from putting us up in your tiny apartment and especially Adria for cooking us breakfast and letting Fox graze your fruit trees.
This race is one of the most exciting I've ever done. The trip and the race had everything - traffic, freeways, road bikes, cops, helicopters, teamwork, wind, crashes, teenagers, old men, Cat 1s, strategy, madison slings, cutty routing, shit-talking, BBQs, sand wrestling, Keo trick demo, scooter film crews, beer, homemade tortillas, bike thieves, backflips, and...it just goes on. If they manage to pull off a Wolfpack 4 next year, make the trip, you'll be glad you did. Special thanks to Ryan & Akira @ Kinfolk, Everyone at Orange 20 (Jim, Mark, Andrea) Tracko Kyle & Real Tracko Adria, Ty @ EAI, Hern, John, DJneight (Suzue Carbons - thanks!). I have not smiled that much after a race in a long time. And special congrats and respect to Wolfpack A - we're gonna make you work next year.

Did I mention David Rowe (Fast Friday) was filming the whole thing for his next film? Four bike cams, scooter follow cams, intersection cams, and a helicopter cam. Can't wait to see this one!

DVD Release Update
I wanted to post these two emails from our replicator/printer as to notify the public of what we have been dealing with. I have left out other emails in between, but these are just two examples of the delay. We are under heavy scrutiny for this dvd not being released yet and we have honestly been doing the best we can to expedite this process. Unfortunately it is not in our hands and it seems our project has been put on the back burner. Regarding the second email in this entry the final booklet proof was in their hands on June 5th as well as all the other proofs and check discs. It has now taken nearly a month to get this to us. Believe me when I say I cannot wait any longer for this than everyone else. The new date we have been told is now June 30th at the latest. I can't apologize any more for the delay and I am extremely frustrated with the outcome of this thus far.
Sincerely, Colin

Colleen,
The disc will print tomorrow. The digipak is in process. The revised slip case will print this week.
Today we got the new file from Steve for the Rev Booklet. If all goes well from this point forward I would estimate approx 7 biz days or better.
Thanks

Colleen,
The discs are replicated, print today or tomorrow. The Digiapaks should be here by end of the week or early next week, with the slip case following a couple days behind it.
Steve N. approved the revised booklet on 6/15/09. so that one is at least 5 days out.
Once I have all the dry goods, it will be 2-3 days to hand pack. When they all come in , I’ll advise you.
Thanks

The Bicycle Film Festival is coming to Oakland this year, for a one-day thing right after the SF stop. I'm producing it, and throwing this race along with other fun stuff...
More about all this later, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up!
