more Volume Thrasher photos
Even though It's still in its prototype stage the Volume Thrasher looks like a final product. They have paid attention to every little detail from Bar spin clearance, wider chain stays, to the smooth hour glass shape of the ht and bb. I like every move forward Volume has made here. Say good bye to your track bikes and hello to the tarck bikes

The bar spin clearance has been optimized by lengthening the top tube.

the clearance is huge from wheel to pedal. The bars will be thrown.

The rear triangle has been widen significantly to easily hold 38c tires.

Seat tube cut out.

Stoked for Dustin's collaboration with DVS. Saw some prototypes a couple of months ago and they're nice in person with neat details that you will all love. I'm sure the finished sneaker will be great as well!

Haiqal Anwar is from Singapore and was one of our (HOC) first international customers. This past weekend, Haiqal and his friends orgranized the Tour of Singapore. On Saturday, they completed 120KM with about 50 riders. Great turn out and it looks like they had a fun time. Keep things moving!

Thomson seat post, turbo seat, generic stem and riser bars.
Rear wheel is a 700c chucker and the front is a 26 in wtb laser disc wheel. Both laced to formula hubs. Sugino cranks, odyssey bmx pedals with alternative foot retention devices and the gearing is 47-17.
"My goal with this bike was to find a happy medium between fast city riding and tricking. I refuse to compromise the tight track geometry to do tricks I could be doing on a bmx. I would rather get there faster."

DVD orders
If your having troubling ordering the DVD from overseas or anywhere for that matter email shipping@macaframa.com Thank you
3 wheels 1 dark lord
i really dont know why but i've been into these vintage three wheelers for a little while. maybe it's cause i have a garage now. old bikes are so cool, i actually just got my girl a sweet john deere 3 speed "ladies touring" bike last week, circa 1973. It's fuckin badass too. you better believe it.
so anyway, john deere aside, there are some weirdo "bikes" out there for sure. in a matter of maybe 30 minutes i found a couple rad ones.
this ones in fresno for $150 but they'd probably take less i'm sure:

but then i kept searching throughout the central valley craigslist posts and came across this gem in sac:

apparently there is also a bracket on there for an umbrella. to go over the riders... wtf?! amazing.
so i think i might have a problem. this is pretty deep subject matter too, don't even want to get into the whole bay-be champ and the scraper dudes scene out in oakland, they have it set up rides where they do a straight line of everybody riding, with a couple 3 wheelers in the front, and everybody follows them and they do there cruising like that. i wonder where they score those 3 wheelers. shit ain't that easy to come up on.
3 wheels in the front.
Pool Tournament
Colin and Colby moved into a new place and almost immediately got a pool table on Craigslist. We have all been playing a lot lately. Yesterday we had a little tournament. Colin won. His table.

Volume Thrasher
Volume is stepping up to compete with other brands such as All-City, BMW, and Milwaukee that take larger sized tires. I personally own a Cutter and love it. The only set back is the rear clearance and short top tube. Volume has addressed these issues and more.
"Our main goal on the Thrasher was to give you a lot more tire clearance, no more tire overlap (lengthened the TT), still run the rear wheel slammed and not have the tire rub the ST. All while still aesthetically looking clean with our new hour glass HT and BB shells."
They also changed the BB from euro to mid sized bearings meaning you can only run BMX cranks on this frame. They already have a couple of riders testing out the prototypes. Hopefully these will hit the market by the beginning of next year.

it's really dope to see people making shit happen like this, after all the talking and planning that many times ends up hitting a dead end.
so if you're in the area, be sure to stop by for the booze and tattoos this saturday. don't sleep!
