it's too bad the footage from the maca dvd wasn't filmed like this. i thought all the side filming hanging out of your bros t-bird was pretty lame. you guys should have filmed directly behind the rider like this video. hopefully in the next maca we'll see more shots like this.

There is plenty of footage filmed just like this.
PJ and Josh have some of the best lines in the film shot the same way as this clip.
But I would bet if they listened to you some where along the way a clip would come out with them filming from the side of a car and you would find some way to say the whole video should have been that way.
Maybe you should buy an HVX 200a and spend 2 years of your life making your own full length film.

wow this video was better than the entire macaframa movie and the supplements garbage; although i did enjoy when Josh Hayes bombed through straight traffic going about 35. I did watch the macaframa dvd disc 1 and 2 and i strongly agree with Cash, the entire macaframa movie was filmed and edited great but should have been more, if not, all shot from behind the riders. just like what mash did. i hate to compare the two because they are both great in their own ways, but mash was on the money with filming. Cashmoney, you aren't the only one annoyed by the side view filming :D

i paid my money for the dvd and no regrets, but i kindof agree with cashflow as well, although editing and quality are excellent.

i guess it's hard to film directly behind people if you obey traffic laws like the macaframa guys, the mash guys are on scooters and run reds like cyclists!

would kind of like to see some long sequences ala mash instead of short edits in the next maca film

this dude is dope. and anyone critisizing the way the film was shot, if you dont have your own work to compare it to than maybe just keep that little opinion to thyself.

I have watched this clip so many times...kudos. Also, fantastic work on the DVD. There was a little wait to receive it, but well-worth it. Much respect for everyone involved. Odds are it will be the magnum opus of "indie" fixie culture. Next year, will be X games and an urban outfitters bike team. Fun while it lasted...
